Ingredients:
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Directions:
Step 1: Marinate
Season the steaks and shrimp with salt, pepper, and half of the lemon juice. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: Sear Steak
In a hot skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from the skillet and let them rest.
Step 3: Cook Shrimp
In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook the shrimp until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Step 4: Make Lemon Butter Sauce
Add the lemon zest and the rest of the lemon juice to the skillet. Stir to combine and let it cook for a minute.
Step 5: Serve
Place the steaks and shrimp on a plate, drizzle with the lemon butter sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley.
