An indulgent, flavorful combo of perfectly seared ribeye steaks and juicy, garlicky shrimp. Garnished with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon, this dish is perfect for a special dinner!
Ingredients:
• 2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
• 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 2
tbsp olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp paprika
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
• 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions:
Season the Steaks:
• Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel.
• Generously season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Sear the Steaks:
• Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
• Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust cooking time to your desired doneness).
• Remove the steaks from the skillet and rest on a plate to retain juices.
Cook the Shrimp:
• In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic.
• Sauté the garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
• Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pink and fully cooked.
Serve:
• Slice the rested steaks and arrange them on a serving platter. Add the cooked shrimp either on top or alongside the steak.
• Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for a zesty, fresh finish.
Chef’s Tips:
• Make It a Feast: Serve with sides like grilled corn, roasted potatoes, or sautéed asparagus for a complete meal.
• Garlic Butter Drizzle: After cooking the shrimp, melt a pat of butter in the skillet and drizzle it over the steak and shrimp for added richness.
